He's back, fresh off his spectacular submission victory in the Professional Submission League's inaugural event, 'LA Sub X', Marcelo Garcia, the world's best & most innovative submission artist returns to the PSL tatame to face undefeated MMA Fighter, Jake Shields.  Alliance Black Belt Marcelihino has recently moved to New York City in preparation for the ADCC 2007 & is rumored to be transitioning into an MMA career. With multiple BJJ Mundial & ADCC World Submission titles firmly in hand Garcia sits at the top of the mountain. Known for submitting former ADCC & UFC Heavyweight Champion Ricco Rodriques, a man over 100 lbs his weight, Marcelo will need all of his fluidity to defeat Shields.  Jake Shields, only the second American to hold the World Shooto belt has been granted his dream match up at 'X-Mission'. Though most recognize Shields as being on the verge of a major MMA breakthrough since winning the Rumble on the Rock's World Welterweight Grand Prix in early 2006 few realize that he is one of America's brightest submission stars.
